Cowburger

One day, on my way home from the gym, I glanced at a burger restaurant — and this animation idea popped into my mind. Three years later, I dug up the old sketch, brushed off some dust, and brought it to life.

Style-wise, I wanted something smooth, yet I didn’t want the animation to feel rigged. Around that time, Gabriel Gareso had just launched the Clean Up Master tool. It was the perfect opportunity to test it out! It’s absolutely brilliant.

I’ve got some good friends who dedicate their lives to helping animals. While I’m not vegan, I fully support the idea of massively reducing animal food consumption. Swapping that burger for a falafel once in a while is fun — and great for our four-legged friends 🐮

Roughed out the animation in ToonBoom & Cleaned up in After Effects with the help of "Clean Up Master"
I know the rough is really rough - I'm just lazy and impatient to have clean roughs. (especially on personal projects)
Once I have a sense of how it'll feel when polished- I jump straight to clean up!
